Below you will find 4 scales that are needed to understand my tune "Life Is Koo-Koo". The final file is the finished tune, which was recorded live at WUCF studios in Orlando, Florida on 04/04/04 (believe it or not) with Yves Nadeau (high harmony and first solo) Larry Coryell (Middle harmony and third solo) and yours truly (composition, bass, melody and second solo.) The "Infinity scales" are right out of my book
"The Guitar Explained", page 14, no matter what version you own. The scales represent the way I went about creating the tune originally, ( a true 1,4,5, 12-bar blues in the key of E ) evolving from one step to the next.
Played alone (and for hours) these are kind of the Robert Fripp school of thinking - endless repetition to strengthen the mind, the will, the body and the temperament. Once the mechanical stuff is nailed, then where to drop notes ("human feel") is infinitely easier as one now has control of time for REAL.
